Busch Gardens Williamsburg: The place where educators have fun down to a science.
Exciting activities are tailored to inspire the interests of most budding scholars. Instructional field trip programs range from the physics of roller coasters to animal preservation and conservation and from self-guided programs to creative drama presentations.
Physics F/X, where physics comes alive in interactive show. Using wacky props and gripping experiments, Physics F/X presents a vivid account of real-life physics.
X-treme Physics, a self-guided program where students will scream, twist and turn while exploring the world of physics on the thrilling rides at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. From calculating velocity to experiencing the g-forces, students become active participants in the application of physics principles in the life-sized laboratory of a theme park.
Conservation Counts, where your class will have an enriching experience that demonstrates the importance of conservation. Students will walk into an aviary of lorikeets, watch psittacines soar over their heads and catch a glimpse of our nation's symbol of freedom at Eagle Ridge.
Scout Extravaganza, a self-guided program for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts that includes an exclusive workbook and dated event patch. Scouts will experience all aspects of Busch Gardens Williamsburg while earning credit towards their merit badges.
In addition to its many park programs, Busch Gardens also participates in the "SeaWorld/Busch Gardens Environmental Excellence" awards. These awards recognize kindergarten through college-level students for their outstanding environmental efforts.
